Background and Experience

Vivek Rastogi is a researcher specializing in advanced optical diagnostics and imaging, particularly digital holographic interferometry. His diverse work spans noncontact temperature measurement in flames, label-free bacterial and cellular imaging, and photodynamic therapy innovations. Vivek focuses on translating photonics-based technologies—such as smartphone-based lateral flow devices—into practical biomedical and industrial solutions.

Dr. Rastogi received his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Belcher Lab at MIT.
